   The United Suffolk Sheep Association, with outstanding service, economy and efficiency, encourages and supports Suffolk breeders of all ages in their efforts to produce, positively identify and record, and promote Suffolk sheep that are of benefit to the breed and the entire sheep industry.

The United Suffolk Sheep Association serves as an unbiased resource, a clearinghouse of useful information, and a center for registration, communication and cooperation.

The United Suffolk Sheep Association continues to produce leaders by:

• Setting the standards of merit for the Suffolk breed.
   
• Enforcing and maintaining those standards.
   
• Keeping a historical record of lineage of registered Suffolk sheep and maintaining it accurately.
   
• Encouraging breeder integrity in keeping on-farm records.
   
• Providing and disseminating information about Suffolks.
   
• Encouraging new participants in the Suffolk raising enterprise.
   
• Developing activities for youth that stimulate a desire to raise Suffolks.
